Broccoli!
My family LOVES broccoli especially my 5-year-old. So when we were able to plant our garden we put in 8 broccoli plants. We put the plants in one of our square foot garden beds and they are doing great! They are so big they are falling over and they are starting to crown and will be ready to harvest soon. We have two square foot garden beds and two back to eden garden beds in our large garden. I wanted to test out both methods. The broccoli, peppers and beans are in the two SFG beds. Our tomatoes and lettuce are in one Back to Eden bed and we have more tomatoes, rhubarb and artichokes in the other bed. The plants in the SFG beds are doing awesome! They are bigger and producing more than any garden I have ever had with little to no weeds. I will post more about Square foot gardening and back to eden gardening soon.
